Greta Gilson Agnew, ANP-BC, CWS
Greta Agnew, a native of Georgia, received her ADN in 1978 from Gordon College, MSHA from Columbus State University in 1992, and her MSN from Emory University in 2013. She is Board Certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and is a Board Certified Wound Specialist. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Wound Management and a Charter Member of the Wound Healing Society. She is a contributing author for the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, has authored a book, and co-authored a chapter on wound management in The Diabetic Foot, 5th edition, as well as creating multiple education programs for healthcare professionals. She serves as Adjunct Faculty for Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University BSN program, and has lectured nationally and internationally over the past 30 years on various topics involving acute and chronic wound management. She enjoys cooking, sewing, painting, tennis, and spending time with her family and pets.
