Wound Care
Wound care is a complicated process that requires the service of many specialists.  This includes
Infectious Disease Physicians, Surgeons, Plastic Surgery, trained wound care nurses and
sometimes other modalities such as hyperbaric oxygen.

We consider wound care to be an integral part of what we do at IDSGA.  It is frequently NOT possible
to cure infection without a properly handled wound.  Everyone's genetic code is a great first start.
Providing the right environment as well as the control of infection is the next step to mending difficult
wounds.

home page information regarding consultation in this area.
